A Bit About The Ark
We know how important your child is which is why we deliver the highest quality of care and education to help them achieve their best. We have a close knit team of staff and a colourful, vibrant and interlinked setting that flows to ensure children are supervised at all times.
We are incredibly proud of our large green outside area. The children have plenty of space for play and development. Activities often include caring for the garden and planting fruit and vegetables to take home giving the children a real sense of achievement.
Come & Take a Look
If you are considering preschool for your child please call or email us. Our first step is to arrange for you and your child to come in and see us at The Ark. We will show you around, explain how we work, answer any questions you may have and often before we even introduce ourselves your child will be off discovering and making friends.
We will provide you with an application form to take away with you which will include confirmation of what sessions you would like your child to come to. You can apply for as little or as many sessions as you like. Space is sometimes tight but we will be sure to accommodate you as much as we can.
Our Prices
All 3 to 4-year-olds in England can get 570 hours of free early education or childcare per year. This is usually taken as 15 hours each week for 38 weeks of the year. You may also be able to get up to 30 hours free childcare (1,140 hours per year) depending on your circumstances. Some 2-year-olds are also eligible for funding.
You can start claiming free childcare after your child turns 3. The date you can claim will depend on when their birthday is.
Visit www.gov.uk for details of funded childcare eligibility.
All sessions over your child’s funded amount (or if your child is under 3 and not applicable for funding) will cost as listed.
We ask that all non-funded sessions are paid by banks transfer or by cheque. Please use your child’s name as a reference.
